The style presented is best described as Hatha with a focus on gentle and vinyasa flow (level 1-3). The standard class sequence of warm up, sun salutations, balance series , warrior series, floor poses, backbends, inversions, final twist and svasana will be stressed. Also included: Includes asanas, pranayamas, kriyas, chanting, mantra, meditation and other traditional yoga techniques, principles of demonstration, observation, assisting and correcting, business aspects of teaching yoga. Includes both human physical anatomy and physiology (bodily systems, organs, etc.) and energy anatomy and physiology (chakras, nadis, etc.). Includes both the study of the subject and application of its principles to yoga practice (benefits, contraindications, healthy movement patterns, etc). the study of yoga philosophies, yoga lifestyle and ethics for yoga teachers. The word “hatha” comes from the Sanskrit terms “ha” meaning “sun” and “tha” meaning “moon”. Thus, Hatha Yoga is known as the branch of Yoga that unites pairs of opposites referring to the positive (sun) and negative (moon) currents in the system. Hatha Yoga tries to achieve balance between body and mind, as well as attempts to free the more subtle spiritual elements of the mind through physical poses or Asanas, Breathing techniques Pranayama, and Meditation. Payment plan total $2750 totaling $416.66 month $500 deposit. Training is non refundable 2 weeks before the start date. No exceptions
